We spearheaded the design and fabrication of the 30 foot inflatable “Tree of Souls” for Cirque’s blockbuster show, Toruk, based on James Cameron’s Avatar. In addition to designing the tree’s tantalizing paint effects and dynamic fabric textures we accomplished the near-impossible for the ever-ambitious and visionary Cirque Du Soleil. The 30 foot tree, complete with hundreds of feet of LED vines, smoothy emerges from and stows away in an inconspicuous 13 inch trench within the stage, all in a matter of minutes. With Tait Towers.
